Cable Mágico (now Movistar TV); Lima, late 1998. At the time it had just an analog service, it didn't start digital services until 2006 with its satellite service and on cable until 2008. In January 2011 the brand aligned itself with Movistar for corporate harmony and became Movistar TV like everybody else. For some mad reason they did not include the OTA channels, probably because they used to and still do broadcast on the exact same terrestrial frequencies. 2 - Frecuencia Latina 3 - Prevue Latino 4 - América 5 - Panamericana 6 - Cable Mágico Noticias 7 - TNP 8 - Rede Manchete (on the verge of collapse) 9 - ATV 10 - Cable Canal de Noticias 11 - RBC (can't remember what exactly the channel was at the time) 12 - Utilísima 13 - Global Televisión 14 - Cable Mágico Cultural 15 - Uranio TV 16 - América Televisión (the Argentine channel; the international feed is now América Internacional) 17 - Worldnet 18 - Mundo Olé 19 - Discovery Channel 20 - Jockey Club del Perú 21 - E! 22 - Cable Mágico Deportes 23 - Cartoon Network 24 - Discovery Kids 25 - Music 21 26 - HTV 27 - The Weather Channel 28 - Tele Uno 29 - USA Network 30 - TNT 31 - FOX 32 - EWTN 33 - whatever they had on UHF 33 34 - KWGN WB2 35 - CNN International 36 - CNN en español 37 - Sony Entertainment Television 38 - Warner Channel 39 - América Sports (the Argentine channel, América Peru didn't even have one) 40 - GEMS Televisión 41 - ESPN 42 - FOX Sports 43 - Nickelodeon 44 - FOX Kids 45 - Locomotion 46 - MTV 47 - KMGH (ABC) 48 - People & Arts 49 - Infinito 50 - Telefe (the international feed was on the verge of starting) 51 - CBS Telenoticias 52 - Casa Club TV 53 - Film & Arts 54 - NHK "World" (before Premium) 55 - TV5 Amérique Latine 56 - Deutsche Welle 57 - RAI International 58 - BBC World 59 - TVE Internacional 60 - Antena 3 Internacional 61 - KUSA (NBC) 62 - TV Chile 63 - UCTV Chile 64 - Globo (still no international feed at the time) 65 - MGM Family 66 - KCNC (CBS) 67 - Animal Planet 68 - Cine Latino 69 - Movie City 70 - Cinecanal 2 71 - Hallmark 72 - Cinecanal 73 - Cinemax 74 - HBO Olé 75 - SUR (not Canal Sur from Spain, SUR as in Sociedad Unida de Retransmisión - they probably had it because it was founded by one of the men behind Panamericana) 77 - Playboy TV 78 - Venus 79 - CCTV-4 95 - Emirates Dubai Television 96 - Alef Network (defunct Argentine Jewish cable channel) 97 - ETB/TVCi (former Galeusca) Source: www.forosperu.net/temas/cable-magico-las-epocas-de-oro.1292799/

A commercial for Aster's kids channels in 2000, this operator is from the Dominican Republic.
The Tom and Jerry-esque animated segment made for this commercial - right down to the partially seen woman - was animated by an Uruguayan animation house, Milagrito, as seen below:
