Singtel's website officially announces the upcoming shutdown of the Asian feeds of E! and Diva.
Bengal Digital (Bangladesh) has these two channels (E! got added in November), so it seems that they have two free slots (possibly for new Asian feeds?).

It's been reported to Portuguese operators that the TVCine channels will undergo a substantial change on January 14. TVSéries to shut down and its content will move to the existing channels. It's not entirely known whether or not the channels will become themed like in the days of Telecine Portugal/Canais Lusomundo until 2007.
Hopefully they'll change the logo. It's been the same for 12 years (not counting minor changes to the texture) and is inspired by the TV Cabo logo of the time the TVCine brand was introduced.

New information has arrived. A new logo will be adopted and the channels will be renamed. Further details won't be revealed, probably because of anticipation.

Recently, tons of local television stations in the USA reinstated the national anthem as part of their schedule, despite broadcasting 24/7.
The first company to do so was Gray Television with 145 stations, in order to bring patriotism to a "divided" country, featuring a 9-year old singer. CBS Television Stations followed suit. They are only shown once a day, at 4:30am (at least for CBS stations).
This is not new to the USA. The highly-controversial FOX News channel made news when it played the anthem before its morning program, and later reduced the practice to weekends. Other countries with 24/7 schedules do that as part of legal recommendations, like Mexico, Venezuela and Ecuador. In Portugal the practice of playing the national anthem was abandoned alongside closedowns in a traditional sense, on RTP 1 in 1999 and on RTP 2 in 2000.

Last week saw the shutdown of three channels in the UK: 5Spike and VH1 from Viacom and Universal TV as part of NBCUniversal changing the order of its brands in countries where SKY or similars operate.
For 5Spike they just integrated its contents to Paramount Network, however it's nothing but just a mere copy-paste of 5Spike, with some of its reality programming having moved there. The Spike channel in the USA became Paramount Network in 2018.
VH1 drifted from its EMEA sister channel by adding reality programming. Some of VH1's American reality programming is not carried at all in Portugal. The EMEA feed is still strictly a music channel, but the playlist is extremely repetitive.
Universal TV might become SKY Comedy. The channel is set to launch on the 27th of this month.

This might affect channels that have the FOX brand and are owned by Disney.

My bets will be placed on the possible expansion of the ABC brand, as well as the return of STAR to Asia.
