American animated series with its own style, spoofing American lifestyles in general, with millions of followers worldwide, whose later seasons are not worth it and that created memes, from predictions made by the series to Steamed Hams.
Decided to create a thread for it considering that today is the 30th anniversary of its emancipation from The Tracey Ullman Show. At present it's running for 31 seasons and 672 episodes to date, with most of the VAs being the same since day one. Obviously characters come and go.

RECTIFICATION: Another Simpsons-related prediction, related to the "Osaka flu" mentioned in the above link, is fake. Only three of the images are from Marge in Chains. The image with the words "Corona virus" in Kent Brockman's newscast is fake too, someone just added the words.
The words, superimposed over an "Apocalypse Meow" caption, are from season 22 episode The Fool Monty.
"Bill Oakley, one of the two writers of the 1993 episode, described the claim to Reuters as a “stretch”, as the episode was based on other events that had already happened."
“I don’t specifically remember which viruses had been in the news in the decade before we wrote it but there were probably a few. The story was assigned to us by the showrunners Mike Reiss and Al Jean and they told us to read ‘The Plague’ by Albert Camus which is what the entire first act is based on”, Oakley told Reuters. “I would say in general when people say The Simpsons has predicted something it is just that we were satirizing real life events from years before and because history keeps repeating it just SEEMS like we were predicting things”.

Following recent events in the USA, The Simpsons will stop relying on whites to do non-white characters. In January, Harry Shearer stepped down on playing Apu, a character at the center of controversy for years now.
